In June 2026, Stiftung Bürger für Bürger and the ZEIT STIFTUNG BUCERIUS hosted the first Zukunftsfestival "Streit & Zuversicht" ("Conflict & Confidence"). It was two free days of live talks, panels, workshops and concerts at Volkspark Halle. Politicians, journalists and young activists talked about the future of East Germany, with guests such as Sandra Maischberger, Robin Alexander, Dagmar Rosenfeld and Jan Plewka. We made a video package for JUGENDSTIL*, the foundation's project that supports young (post-)migrant engagement in East Germany.
El reto
Turn two packed days with parallel stages into videos that make you feel like you were there. The client needed to capture the festival's atmosphere (open and warm, full of dialogue and debate) and give the speakers a clear presence on screen. Alongside the main film, they needed short formats for social media.
La solución
We cut a five-minute aftermovie that follows the rhythm of the festival. Shots of the park, the audience and the stages alternate with key moments from talks and panels. That way every speaker gets a recognisable moment, and the film never turns into a recording of a lecture. The pacing and music carry the mood from the daytime discussions to the evening concerts. From the same footage we built five vertical recap reels: short, punchy, and made to work on their own in the feed.
El resultado
One project, a complete content package: a five-minute aftermovie that tells the story of the whole festival, plus five ready-to-post recap reels for social media. The videos show the festival as it was, a place of dialogue, encounters and confidence. They give JUGENDSTIL* and Stiftung Bürger für Bürger material they can use to present the festival long after it ended.
